With less than a week to go before the 2010 trade deadline, the baseball
rumor-mill is heating up.

Teams such as the Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians will look to become sellers, as they begin to build towards their future.

While other teams such as the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox will become buyers, with hopes of trading for a player that turns them into a World Series champion come October.

For most of the teams in the majors, their seasons have already been decided, but for the New York Yankees, their season is just “beginning.”

Over the past couple of weeks, the Yankees rotation has taken multiple hits. From Hughes’ recent struggles, to Pettitte’s groin injury, and Burnett’s inconsistencies, the Yankees are a team that appear to be in desperate need for a stable and reliable arm in the middle or back end of the rotation.

As you proceed to read, ” MLB Trade Rumors: Six Ways the Yankees Can Resurrect its Staff”, I indicate which pitcher I find most available, realistic, and affordable for the Yankees to acquire before the trade deadline.

We’ll find out soon enough if I’m right, but in the meantime, sit back, relax and enjoy.

Let’s play ball.
