Pitchers and catchers will be reporting before you know it, but there’s still plenty of time to sit and listen to the trade winds a’blowing.

Detroit Tigers right-hander Rick Porcello has been on the trade block for a while now, and the word from Jon Morosi of FoxSports.com is that the Tigers are talking with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Seattle Mariners about potential trades.

Speaking of the Diamondbacks and Mariners, they nearly hooked up on a trade centered around young right fielder Justin Upton. But as FoxSports.com was the first to report, Upton nixed the trade with his limited no-trade clause.

Meanwhile in our nation’s capital, the Washington Nationals are busy trying to find a taker for righty slugger Mike Morse after re-signing first baseman Adam LaRoche. Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com has mentioned the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees as possible destinations.

Wherever there are rumors, myself and B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar are on the case. This week, we shared our thoughts on logical landing places for Porcello, Upton and Morse, and our ramblings happened to be caught on video.
