Just because you’ve slipped behind in the Stolen Base category doesn’t mean you can’t catch up.  Here are some reasonably available SB threats.

 

Gregor Blanco, OF, Kansas City Royals
Blanco had six stolen bases over the past 15 days while hitting .237 with three runs and two RBIs. On the year, he’s hitting .277 with seven SBs, 12 runs, and five RBIs. Gregor is available in virtually all ESPN and CBS leagues.

 

Will Venable, OF, San Diego Padres
Venable had five stolen bases over the past 15 days while hitting .194 with two runs, a HR, and an RBI. On the year, he’s hitting .227 with 23 SBs, 42 runs, 10 HRs, and 39 RBIs. Will is owned in five percent of ESPN and 13 percent of CBS leagues.

 

Ian Desmond, SS, Washington Nationals
Desmond had five stolen bases over the past 15 days while hitting .311 with six runs, two HRs, and four RBIs. On the year, he’s hitting .266 with 14 SBs, 44 runs, nine HRs, and 49 RBIs. Ian is owned in 19 percent of ESPN and 47 percent of CBS leagues.

 

 

Coco Crisp, OF, Oakland A’s
Crisp had four stolen bases over the past 15 days while hitting .353 with eight runs, a HR, and seven RBIs. On the year, he’s hitting .277 with 18 SBs, 32 runs, four HRs, and 25 RBIs. Coco is owned in 21 percent of ESPN and 33 percent of CBS leagues.

 

Jamey Carroll, 2B/3B/SS, Los Angeles Dodgers
Carroll had four stolen bases over the past 15 days while hitting .348 with five runs and five RBIs. On the year, he’s hitting .288 with ten SBs, 41 runs, and 18 RBIs. He’s available in virtually all ESPN and CBS leagues.

 

Cliff Pennington, SS, Oakland A’s
Pennington had four stolen bases over the past 15 days while hitting .278 with seven runs. On the year he’s hitting .259 with 19 SBs, 50 runs, three HRs, and 31 RBIs. Cliff is owned in nine percent of ESPN and 29 percent of CBS leagues.
