Scott Rolen, Cincinnati Reds (pictured)
Rolen went 2-for-3 with two HRs and three RBI. He’s hitting .287 with 10 HRs and 27 RBI.
Zach Duke, Pittsburgh Pirates
Duke got a no-decision despite holding the Braves to one unearned run with five Ks in seven innings. He lowered his ERA to 4.47.
Gaby Sanchez, Cody Ross, and Ronny Paulino, Florida Marlins
Sanchez went 3-for-5 with two runs and three RBI. He’s hitting .279 with 21 RBI. Ross went 3-for-4 with two HRs and three RBI. He’s hitting .309 with 24 RBI. Paulino went 3-for-5 with two runs and a HR. He’s hitting .299 with 13 RBI.
John Jaso, Tampa Bay Rays
Jaso went 2-for-4 with a HR and four RBI. He’s hitting .349 with 18 RBI.
Jeff Keppinger, Houston Astros
Keppinger went 3-for-4 with two runs to raise his average to .292.
Jason Giambi and Clint Barmes, Colorado Rockies
Giambi went 3-for-6 with a HR and four RBI. He’s hitting .244 with nine RBI. Barmes went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. He’s hitting just .220 but has 20 RBI.
Mitch Maier and Yuniesky Betancourt, Kansas City Royals
Maier went 3-for-5 with two RBI. He’s hitting .255 with 18 RBI. Betancourt went 3-for-5 to raise his average to .277.
David Freese, St. Louis Cardinals
Freese went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI. He’s hitting .315 with 18 RBI.
Ben Sheets, Oakland A’s
Sheets got a no-decision despite holding the Giants scoreless on two hits with eight Ks in six innings. He lowered his ERA to 5.04.
Edwin Encarnacion, Toronto Blue Jays
Encarnacion hit his fifth HR in the three-game series. He’s up to seven on the year in just 51 ABs.
