Mitch Talbot, Cleveland Indians
Talbot gave up one run on three hits in seven innings with five Ks to improve to 8-6 with a 3.88 ERA. He has given up three runs in his last 14 innings.

 

Jonathan Niese, New York Mets
Niese gave up four hits in six scoreless innings to improve to 5-2 with a 3.84 ERA.

 

Will Venable, San Diego Padres
Venable went 1-for-3 with a HR (8) and three RBI (32). He’s hitting just .239.

 

Jamie Moyer, Philadelphia Phillies
Moyer gave up two runs in seven innings with seven Ks to improve to 9-6 with a 4.30 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP. He has given up five runs in his past three starts (23 IP), all wins.

 

Carlos Guillen, Detroit Tigers
Guillen went 3-for-3 to raise his average to .291.

 

Rodrigo Lopez, Arizona Diamondbacks
Lopez gave up one run on two hits in six innings to improve to 4-6 with a 4.42 ERA.


Tyler Colvin, Chicago Cubs
Colvin went 3-for-4 with two runs, a HR (10) and four RBI. He’s hitting .296 with 27 RBI.


Jason Kendall, Kansas City Royals
Kendall went 3-for-5 with two runs and four RBI (28). He’s hitting .265.


Chris Narveson, Milwaukee Brewers (pictured)
Narveson gave up four hits in eight scoreless innings to improve to 7-4 with a 5.17 ERA. He struck out seven.


Jhoulys Chacin, Colorado Rockies
Chacin took the loss and allowed five runs, but he was kind to fantasy owners. Only two of the runs were earned and he racked up 12 Ks. He sits at 4-7 with a 3.51 ERA.


Tommy Hunter, Texas Rangers
Hunter gave up one run in six innings to improve to 4-0 with a 2.15 ERA.
