Dice-K gave up two runs in six innings with five strikeouts to improve to 6-3 with a 4.56 ERA.
Madison Bumgarner, San Francisco Giants
Bumgarner gave up one run in six innings with six strikeouts to improve to 2-2 with a 2.57 ERA. He’s won his past two starts, allowing one run in 14 innings.
Andruw Jones and Gordon Beckham, Chicago White Sox
Jones went 2-for-4 with a home run (12) and 4 RBI (29). He’s hitting just .210. Beckham isn’t much better (.216) after today’s 3 for 5, two runs, one RBI performance.
Jeff Keppinger, Houston Astros
Keppinger went 3-for-5 with a run. He’s hitting .284 and has a hit in 11 of his last 13 games.
Jake Arrieta, Baltimore Orioles
Arrieta gave up one run in 6.1 innings to improve to 3-2 with a 4.38 ERA. He has allowed two run in his past two starts (12-2/3 IP).
Jerry Hairston, Jr. and Scott Hairston
