Well, it’s a cardinal rule of common sense not to get picked off at first to lose a game.

With his Washington Nationals threatening in the bottom of the ninth with men on first and second and two outs, Clint Robinson violated that rule on Thursday. Chicago Cubs catcher David Ross made a snap-throw to first and caught Robinson napping, ending the game, 2-1.
