On June 10, 1997, former Anaheim Angels outfielder Jim Edmonds made one of the greatest catches in MLB history.

In the fifth inning of a game between the Angels and Kansas City Royals, Edmonds made a spectacular over-the-shoulder diving catch in center field going towards the wall.

The incredible play robbed the Royals’ David Howard of extra bases and remains one of the best defensive plays of all time.
