Ian Kinsler Waves to His Former Rangers Teammates After Home Run

Detroit Tigers’ Ian Kinsler was traded from the Texas Rangers in a one-for-one trade for Prince Fielder prior to the 2014 season, and on Tuesday night, Kinsler reminded them what they were missing.

Kinsler homered to left field in his return to Arlington in the first inning, then gave his former teammates a wave as he rounded the bases.

The home run was Kinsler’s ninth of the season.

Boston’s Brock Holt Makes Diving Grab After Jonny Gomes Loses It in the Lights

The Boston Red Sox‘s outfield has this whole “team defense” thing figured out.

After Jonny Gomes lost a fly ball in the light in left field against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night, Brock Holtwho was playing center field for the first time in his professional careerbailed him out with a ridiculous diving catch he had no business making.

Boston would go on to beat the Twins, 2-1. As if Holt’s ridiculous catch wasn’t enough salt in Minnesota’s wounds, he’d go on to score both of the Red Sox’s runs.

‘Jungle Bird’ Gets Bodyslammed After Running onto Field at Nationals Park

Do you remember the infamous “Jungle Bird,” the man who crashed the 2012 U.S. Open and a 2013 match between Everton and Juventus all in the name of deforestation? Of course you do.

Well, he’s back, this time storming the field at Nationals Park during Washington’s matchup against the New York Mets.

Fans captured him getting bodyslammed by security after climbing the field’s wall in the ninth inning.

Something tells us this won’t be the last sporting event we see the Jungle Bird at.

Man in Superman Costume Breaks Up Fights at St. Louis Cardinals Games

Fans attending St. Louis Cardinals games at Busch Stadium have to be on their best behavior, or they might feel the wrath of the team’s superhero.

A man named Charlie Chartland, who identifies himself as the St. Louis Superman, breaks up fights around the stadium in a full costume, sometimes even laying on offending fans to prevent the fight from continuing.

He’s the hero that St. Louis deserves, not the one it needs right now.

Angels’ Mike Trout Bought His Mom an Infiniti SUV for Mother’s Day

What’s the first big purchase we’ve seen Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout make since signing his new six-year, $144.5 million contract? A great gift for his mom.

In a move that will make the average man feel like an insufficient son, Debbie Trout received an Infiniti SUV, which we believe is a QX80, a week before Mother’s Day. If this is indeed the case, it would mean that Trout spent at least $62,700.

Also, props to Trout for not only actually getting one of those massive red bows, but getting it personalized.

Denver Columnists’ Text Message Spawns ‘Fartolo Colon’ Nickname in Ticker

New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon has been the butt of some jokes this season already, but unlike some of his other blunders that were under his control, the latest crack at Colon is not his fault.

After earning his fourth loss of the season against the Colorado Rockies, the postgame ticker referred to the pitcher as “Fartolo Colon,” a result of the nickname given to him by the Denver Posts Benjamin Hochman

However you feel about the nickname, you have to admit: It’s quite catchy, with it rhyming and all. Hopefully Colon can recover from his slump and shed the bad jokes.

Mariners’ Robinson Cano Gets Booed by Yankees Fans to Get Him Ready for Return

Former New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano will play his first game against his former team when the Seattle Mariners return to Yankee Stadium on Tuesday, April 29.

Jimmy Fallon wanted to give Yankees fans a chance to show how they really feel about his departure by letting them boo him. Fallon did not, however, tell these booing fans that the real Cano could hear everything.

Lots of the tough guys in this video have a quick change of heart when Cano comes out from behind the poster.

Olympian Meghan Duggan Mocks Michael Pineda’s Pine Tar Incident Before 1st Pitch

New York Yankees starting pitcher Michael Pineda was recently suspended 10 games after not so subtly using pine tar from his neck against the Boston Red Sox.

Olympic women’s hockey silver medalist Meghan Duggan made light of the move by rubbing her neck before throwing out the first pitch prior to the Red Sox game against New York on Thursday.

You can watch footage of Pineda‘s incident below. Did Duggan do a good impression?

On April 8, 1974, Atlanta Braves legend Hank Aaron hit career home run No. 715, surpassing Babe Ruth for the all-time record. On April 8, 2014, the Braves honored Hammerin’ Hank by wearing the same jerseys Aaron wore the night he set the record 40 years ago.

Atlanta will also have the No. 715 cut into the outfield grass and a special logo on the bases. He will also be honored prior to the Braves’ game against the Mets.

You can relive the historic home run below.

Little Girl Asks Nationals Players How Many Girlfriends They Have

A little girl nearly stirred things up in the love lives of Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg and infielder Anthony Rendon when she was allowed to ask “how many girlfriends do you have?”

Strasburg tells the girl that he has a wife and thus “no girlfriend” while Rendon takes a little more time to come up with his answer of “one.” It’s not completely clear why Rendon takes so much time to deliver his answer, but there’s a chance he’ll have a very upset girlfriend at home if she gets wind of this.

Hat tip to Nina Mandell of USA Today‘s FTW for the find.
