Royals Fan Rubs It in After Jarrod Dyson Guns Down Runner at 3rd Base in ALDS

The American League Division Series between the Los Angeles Angels and Kansas City Royals has been full of amazing clutch plays.

It doesn’t get more clutch than Kansas City outfielder Jarrod Dyson’s throw in the eighth inning.

In a 1-1 game, Dyson nailed Angels baserunner Collin Cowgill at third base in his attempt to tag up.

Afterward, a Royals fan decided to rub it in an Angels fan’s face.

The Angels fan wasn’t having it.

Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig Breaks Bat on Check Swing That Doesn’t Touch the Ball

Yasiel Puig is arguably one of baseball’s most intriguing players. It’s a rare night when he doesn’t do something that catches the eye.

Friday night’s game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Milwaukee Brewers was no exception.

In the seventh inning, the outfielder checked his swing against Brewers pitcher Zach Duke which resulted in a broken bat.

Amazingly, the bat never made contact with the ball.

As cool as it was to see, the Dodgers probably preferred he made contact.

Los Angeles ended up falling to Milwaukee 9-3.

Errant Ball from Reds’ Bullpen Leads to Indians’ David Murphy Getting Thrown out

There was a bit of confusion in the Cleveland Indians’ Tuesday night game versus the Cincinnati Reds, especially on the part of Indians right fielder David Murphy.

With Murphy on first, Cleveland’s Yan Gomes doubled off of the right field wall. During the relay throw back in, an errant ball came flying in from the Reds’ bullpen.

A perplexed Murphy rounded third after seeing the extra ball lying in the grass.

The Reds quickly tossed the “real” ball to third and tagged Murphy out.

The Indians were not pleased, as they ended up losing the game 9-2.
