Once the tarp was on the field, it was showtime for this San Diego Padres groundskeeper.

The Padres suffered a rare home rain delay during Thursday night’s game against the Washington Nationals. The game was less than an inning in when the skies opened and the rain came down, and knowing the crowd was anxious for a show, this groundskeeper decided he wasn’t done working for the time being.

He entertained the crowd with an impromptu dance show, breaking out all of his best moves. Then he capped his performance with a little Slip’N Slide action on the tarp.

The Padres don’t have to deal with many rain delays at Petco Park, but this groundskeeper was ready for action when it started pouring in San Diego.
