Are you hurting in the RBI category? Here are some reasonably available players that can help you out.

Delmon Young, OF, Minnesota Twins

Would do you think the ownership of a guy that has 13 RBIs in the past 15 days, and 26 in the past 30 would be? This is a guy who, in the past two weeks, has hit .333 with 11 runs, 5 HRs, and 2 SBs. If you guessed about 50 percent in ESPN and CBS leagues, you’d be right. If you need RBIs, take a look at Delmon, who’s hitting .292 with 41 RBIs, 28 runs, 8 HRs, and 3 RBIs.

Yuniesky Betancourt, SS, Kansas City Royals
Betancourt has quietly put together a solid season. He’s hitting .276 with 31 RBIs, 28 runs, and 5 HRs. Over the past 15 days he has 11 RBIs, while hitting .250 with 8 runs, and 1 HR. Betancourt is owned in 10.8 percent of ESPN and 22 percent of CBS leagues.

Jhonny Peralta, 3B/SS, Cleveland Indians
Peralta doesn’t bring a lot of speed or power to the table, but he is productive. Over the past 15 days he hit .294 with 10 RBIs and 10 runs. On the year he’s hitting .258 with 32 RBIs, 26 runs, 4 HRs, and 1 SB. His dual position eligibility is a plus. Jhonny is owned in just 12.4 percent of ESPN and 49 percent of CBS leagues.

David DeJesus, OF, Kansas City Royals
DeJesus had 10 RBIs in the past 15 days while hitting .469 with 7 runs, 1 HR, and 1 SB. On the year he’s hitting .329 with 35 runs, 5 HRs, and 3 SBs. For some reason he’s owned in just 30.5 percent of ESPN and 56 percent of CBS leagues, despite his impressive statistics.

Kevin Kouzmanoff, 3B, Oakland A’s
Kouzmanoff has 10 RBIs in the past 15 days while hitting .453 with 8 runs and 3 HRs. On the year he’s hitting .290 with 35 RBIs, 29 runs, and 6 HRs. Kevin is owned in 35.4 percent of ESPN and 46 percent of CBS leagues.

Justin Smoak, 1B, Texas Rangers
Smoak continued his Chris Davis impersonation hitting .239 over the past 15 days with 10 RBIs, 9 runs, and 1 HR. On the year he’s hitting .204 with 24 RBIs, 22 runs, 6 HRs, and 1 SB. Justin is owned in 12.2 percent of ESPN and 45 percent of CBS leagues.
