Carlos Guillen, Detroit Tigers
Guillen went 3-for-4 with a run and three RBI (25). He’s hitting .294.

 

Derek Lowe, Atlanta Braves
Lowe gave up two runs on six hits with six strikeouts in seven innings but fell victim to a Roy Halladay gem. Lowe is 9-7 with a 4.40 ERA.

 

Gavin Floyd, Chicago White Sox (pictured)
Floyd gave up one run on five hits in seven innings to improve to 4-7 with a 4.43 ERA. He is rolling, going 2-1 with a 1.27 ERA in his past six starts.

 

Eric Patterson, Boston Red Sox
Patterson went 3-for-5 with a pair of homeruns (6), but he’s hitting just .220.

 

Javier Vazquez, New York Yankees
Vazquez evened his record at 7-7 and now has a 4.81 ERA after allowing one run on three hits over seven innings. He’s 4-2 with a 2.93 ERA in his past seven starts.
