Drew Stubbs, Cincinnati Reds
Stubbs went 3 for 4 with two runs (56), a HR (14), and two RBI(51). He’s worth owning if you can stomach his .234 average.

 

Lyle Overbay & J.P. Arencibia, Toronto Blue Jays
Overbay went 1 for 5 with a HR (13) and three RBI (45). He’s hitting .249. Arencibia made a big splash in his MLB debut going 4 for 5 with three runs, two HR, and three RBI. He’s only expected to have a cup of coffee while John Buck is on the DL.

 

Coco Crisp & Gio Gonzalez (pictured), Oakland A’s
Crisp went 2 for 2 with two runs, a HR, and three RBI. He’s hitting .250. Gonzalez gave up four hits in seven scoreless innings to improve to 10-7 with a 3.51 ERA.

 

Alberto Callaspo, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
Callaspo went 3 for 4 with a run and an RBI to raise his average to .280. He has a hit in nine of his last ten games.

 

Jake Westbrook, St. Louis Cardinals
Westbrook got a no-decision despite giving up three runs in seven innings with nine Ks. He has given up five runs with 16 Ks in 13 innings in his two starts since joining the Cardinals.

 

Bruce Chen, Kansas City Royals
Chen gave up 1 run on 3 hits in seven innings to improve to 7-5 with a 4.44 ERA. He has won his last two starts with a 2.25 ERA.
