Chris Volstad, Florida Marlins
Volstad, one of Friday’s streaming recommendations, gave up 2 runs on 4 hits in 7 innings to improve to 3-1 with a 4.12 ERA.

 

Craig Stammen, Washington Nationals
Stammen got a no-decision despite giving up just 1 earned run in 6-2/3 innings. He struck out 8 and lowered his ERA to 5.63.

 

Jamie Moyer, Philadelphia Phillies (pictured)
The crafty vet had the Braves eating out of his hands. He threw a complete game two-hit shutout to improve to 4-2 with a 4.38 ERA. Moyer had 5 Ks.

 

Starlin Castro, Chicago Cubs
Castro certainly made his presence felt in his debut. He went 2 for 4 with a triple, a HR and 6 RBIs. He’ll be a hot commodity on the waiver wire.

 

Rod Barajas, New York Mets
Barajas went 2 for 4 with 2 HRs and 3 RBIs. He may be hitting just .244, but he has 9 HRs and 17 RBIs on the year.

 

C.J. Wilson, Texas Rangers
Wilson continues to dominate. He threw a complete game allowing 1 run on 5 hits to improve to 3-1 with a 1.51 ERA.

 

Scott Hairston, San Diego Padres
Hairston went 2 for 4 with 2 HRs and 3 RBIs. He’s hitting .267 with 6 HRs and 13 RBIs.

 

Mat Latos, San Diego Padres
Latos gave up 2 hits in 8 scoreless innings to improve to 2-3 with a 4.19 ERA. He racked up 9 Ks.

 

Alex Gonzalez, Toronto Blue Jays
Gonzalez went 1 for 6 with a HR and 3 RBIs. He’s hitting .264, but has 9 HRs and 25 RBIs.

 

Jack Buck, Toronto Blue Jays
Big night for multi-HR games. Buck had two of his own going 2 for 5 with 3 RBIs. He’s hitting .236 with 9 HRs and 17 RBIs.
