Rangers’ Prince Fielder Puts on Helmet, Runs Football Routes

What do you do with some downtime before a baseball game? Well, it’s almost football season, so naturally, you put on a helmet and run some routes with the boys.

That’s exactly what Texas Rangers first baseman Prince Fielder did Sunday morning. With the Rangers in Detroit to face the Tigers, Fielder strapped on a Michigan helmet and ran what appears to be his version of a slant.

Megatron has nothing on Prince.

Athletics Ball Boy Makes Amazing Diving Stop on a Foul Ball Headed for Bullpen

This kid is due for a raise after this play.

In the bottom of the second inning during the Oakland Athletics’ contest against the Tampa Bay Rays, Marcus Semien drove a sharply hit ball right toward the A’s dugout.

The A’s ball boy was on the case, as he quickly entered the frame and made a Derek Jeter-esque dive to prevent the ball from nailing one of Oakland’s pitchers.

He was congratulated by the A’s bullpen, and the fans gave him a brief ovation. He’s definitely the talk of the clubhouse right now.

David Price Lets MLB Know He’s PED-Free in Tweet

David Price and his cannon arm are enjoying the life with his new team. The Toronto Blue Jays are in command of a wild-card spot in the American League right now with help of an 8-2 run in their last 10 games.

The team is getting hot at the right time.

Price is probably a couple of strikeouts away from Drake dropping his name in his next track, and to top everything off, he’s PED-free. At least, that’s what he let MLB know on Twitter.

From time to time, MLB will “randomly” drug test players, and Price’s number was called Saturday. But there’s no need to wait for the results, because Price already let us all know that he’s drug-free, baby!

The fans are excited, the city is ecstatic; it’s nothing but good times in Kansas City. Things will be even better when “Straight Outta Kauffman” starts playing at Kauffman Stadium soon. That’s right—a rap group has made an entire track dedicated to the Royals.

Center of Attention decided to play on the hype surrounding the hip-hop film Straight Outta Compton with the title of their latest track. It isn’t a bad listen and is a good hype song.

Royals fans are going to love this one.

Randy Johnson Gifted a 51-Inch Corndog by Diamondbacks for Retiring His Number

Hall of Famer Randy Johnson played in the league for 22 years, eight of which were for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He won a World Series with the club in 2001.

On Saturday, the Diamondbacks retired his No. 51, and they made the Big Unit a 51-inch corndog. That’s a lot of calories, but he deserves it after an epic career. Eat up, Randy!
